RYATT is a Kingston based business which runs volleyball leagues and tournaments for adults (16+). RYATT was founded in 2004 by two young men (Ryan Stoness & Matt Somerville) looking to play good volleyball in Kingston and hosted a tournament in benefit of the Canadian Cancer Society. Since this time, we have grown by leaps and bounds.
Currently, RYATT has over 1,200 registered players, playing in one of their leagues (indoor, beach, mens and womens), or tournaments. Each year we host 15 to 20 tournaments which attracts players from all over Ontario and our weekly leagues generally host over 50 teams each season (indoor and beach). RYATT was founded on a simple premise - well organised, great volleyball for a great price with a desire to give back to the community. We hope the first three speak for themselves, but since we have founded RYATT, the Kingston Volleyball Community has helped raised over $40,000 for local charities.
We hope to continue to create and grow a strong volleyball community here in Kingston by fostering a healthy active lifestyle and a social atmosphere within a competitive sporting environment.
